Wow, I cannot say ENOUGH how amazing CRATE was for my August 2018 trip. I encourage the staff to be more understanding and polite when dealing with issues such as this in the future. It all worked out ok but was a poor start to what ended up being a great train ride. Had it, I would never have booked this trip knowing my mother's limitations. It said that wheelchairs and strollers were not allowed but nowhere did it mention walkers. I looked back at the website after returning to see if I had missed on the website where it said that walkers weren't allowed and no where did it mention this. Very entertaining and a good value for the price paid of $25/per adult. The train ride was very entertaining with several different people telling about the sites, telling jokes and playing music. This same lady changed her tone once boarded and was a great guide. My mother struggled to her seat by holding onto the seats along the way and we were told that her walker would be waiting for her at the station when we returned. I told her my mother couldn't walk without it and she didn't care. When we were getting ready to board with my handicapped mother who relies completely on her walker to walk, we were so rudely greeted by a woman who said they aren't ADA compliant and walkers weren't allowed on the train.
